It’s that time of year again, where I am raising money for the AIDS Run/Walk being held here in Syracuse on June 1, 2014 at Beaver Lake. My goal in 2014 is to raise $5000, while running 500 miles through training and races.
Last year I raised just just short of $800. My goal this year for this race is to raise $1000, and with just under a month left before the race I have my work cut out for me. I am running the Mountain Goat 10 mile race this Sunday, May 4, the RUNapalooza 5k on May 31, 2014 (3.1) and the 10k AIDS Run/Walk (6.2) on June 1. I mention these miles because I ask that you consider donating $19.30 in honor of these race miles. (Of course any donation, whether smaller or larger than this is absolutely welcome) Your donation helps support the programs and services for the ACR Health office, a not-for-profit, community-based organization providing prevention, education and support services to those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. ACR serves clients in a 9 county region of Upstate NY. Remember, any donation – big or small – makes a huge difference in the lives of so many!
Please support me by contributing whatever you can or by joining me at the AIDS Walk/Run. If you are interested in making a donation (fully tax-deductible), please visit my personal fundraising page:
